What a crazy week!

What a wild and crazy week it has been. First up on the merry-go-round of violence we finally have the death of this guy:
NUFF SAID!!!

Then we have Rashard Mendenhall making some controversial Tweeter statements:

He tweeted "that he has a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style."
and
What kind of person celebrates death? It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side…
and
For those of you who said you want to see Bin Laden burn in hell and piss on his ashes, I ask how would God feel about your heart?

Well you and I both know those kind of tweets are going to have some heavy repercussions. The tweets that Mr. Mendenhall had made got the attention of these kind folks who had an endorsement contract with him:
Who decided to say:
Freedom of speech is one thing...saying something stupid is another.

Then we have an NBA'er getting busted for having a Pot, a pipe, and a gun with pellets:
"Sorry guys I ran out of air pellets."

This former NHL "tough guy" will have his first taste of MMA action shortly:
What is it with 39 yr olds now going into MMA? I guess he didn't pound enough heads in the NHL.

Then we have a boxer threatening guards with guns and homies over parking tickets:
I'm surprised that no one has attempted to rob this guy for all the money he flashes around.

Well after having my full of violence from the news I decided to find something that I could watch without seeing someone stabbed, beaten, shot, or murdered and just started flipping through the channels and decided to watch a tennis match cause I was sick of seeing on the violence on the other TV channels and wanted to mellow out to a sport that I used to watch a lot. Then I almost fell head over heels for this tennis player when I saw her playing her heart out last night:
Her name is Caroline Wozniacki and she is the current No.1 player on the WTA tour. She can smack the tennis ball around like nobody's business. Despite being upset last night by Julia Goerges she can play very well. I'll be keeping an eye on her (not in a stalking kind of way-LOL).
With all the violence that has been in the news and sports world lately I wanted to leave you with an image that is not violent by any means. An image that will bring a sense of peace. An image that will say, "yes, it's been a rough week but by george, I am king of my own jungle."
Yeah.....because I can!
